1200°C Rotating (rotary) tube furnaces
- Maximum operating temperature of 1200°C
- Based on tube diameters of 50, 75 and 100mm
- Heated lengths of 700, 900 & 1090mm
- These models utilise a resistance wire heating element wound around a ceramic worktube, with a rotating worktube running through the centre to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
- Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere, by fitting additional seals
- Built on a horizontal base, this furnace range can be inclined at an angle to ensure material rolls down along the heated length under gravity
- Applications in materials research include heating of granular or powered materials to ensure even and thorough heating

1500°C & 1600°C Rotating (rotary) tube furnaces
- Maximum operating temperatures of 1500°C or 1600°C
- Based on tube diameters of 50, 75,100 and 150mm
- Heated lengths of 610 & 850mm
- These models utilise silicon carbide heating elements mounted around a ceramic worktube which rotates to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
- Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere by fitting additional seals
- Built on a horizontal base, this furnace can be inclined at an angle to ensure material rolls down along the heated length under gravity
- Applications in materials research include heating of granular or powered materials to ensure even and thorough heating

Shown below are two examples of custom built rotating tube furnaces |
|
 | | - Designed for powder processing
- Maximum operating temperature : 1200°C
- Heated length of 1000mm, divided into three independently controlled zones to allow a temperature gradient to be achieved
- Total work tube length is 1800mm
- Up to 5 litres of material can be processed at any one time under an inert atmosphere
- A rotating work tube, which can be tilted to control throughput, ensures there is minimal agglomeration
- The speed of rotation can be adjusted from 2 - 12rpm and the angle of tilt between 0 - 10° from horizontal
- Material is fed into the 75mm diameter work tube via a vibrating feeder equipped with a speed controller and five litre hopper

|
|
 | | - Designed to cure coatings on fine powders used for vitreous enamelling
- Maximum temperature : 500°C
- Tube heated length : 2000mm
- Temperature uniformity ± 10°C over central area
- 3 zones
- Power rating 90kW
