Crucible furnaces for the precious metals market (SCF)

• Specifically designed for the smelting of precious metals
• Maximum operating temperature 1400°C
• Each furnace has twin chamber construction
• The SCF4 and SCF8 models have the appropriate number of apertures pre-cut to hold the crucibles in position
• The SCF 24 and SCF 48 models offer the same size chambers, but there are no apertures, allowing free selection of crucible size and quantity
• Crucible capacity: SCF 4/SCF 8 models - 120mm x 180mm (maximum outer diameter x height) SCF 24/SCF 48 models - 79 x 97mm (maximum outer diameter x height)
• The chamber is ventilated by a 50mm flue fitted in each hinged lid, which pivots on parallel links, keeping the hot face insulation away from the operator
• Silicon carbide elements are mounted horizontally behind the tiles which are situated around the work chamber
