• For controlled heat treatment of hot-end components for aviation, marine and industrial engines
• Furnace used for diffusing protective aluminium manganese chromium coatings onto turbine blades and vanes
• Typical heat treatment cycle ranges from 2-50 hours at 1000°C
• Furnace is rated to heat a maximum charge of 50kg to 1150°C in three hours
• Temperature uniformity at 1150°C meets Rolls Royce RPS 953 standards
• 300 components processed at any one time
• Heat treatment takes place inside an inconel retort measuring 600mm internal diameter x 1750mm high
• Argon gas creates an inert atmosphere and reduces cooling times
